Hot House Orchid

Marla Wentz is the creator of Hot House Orchid jewelry. A lot of Marla's creative inspiration comes from music and poetry. Her beaded pieces tend to be romantic in style with a very Gothic or Punk twist. Marla loves to do multiple strands tangled together in a deceptively random way and also likes to make mini-shadow box pendants filled with images and trinkets relating to some of her favorite poems.

Marla graduated from Grand Canyon University with an art degree in 1996. Her field of emphasis was ceramics. While being a stay-at-home mom of two, she discovered a love of jewelry making. It is very exciting to have Pink House Boutique as an outlet for the fruits of my creative labor.

Welcome to Sashimi! My name is Ashlee C. Poynter, i'm a New York native who has never lived more then 5 miles from the beach. Well, that was up until five years ago when i moved my life to the valley of the sun. Besides a passion for fashion i have a passion for the arts - singing, dancing & acting. In such a community of talent I found describing myself as a "Long Island beach bum" was more complicated than I thought.

To me, fashion should always reflect the person inside on the outside. While eating sushi one day it hit me - I would bring my favorite part of the beach here to Arizona! Over time i have been collecting starfish and other natural materials from beaches in New York ,Cali & Texas, once i got started i simply couldn't stop. On top of my crazy life as a singer/actor/dancer, I added another title that i love dearly, "I am the creator of Sashimi". Sashimi is where industrial romance takes over your imagination. My goal is for the girlie girl inside to come face to face with her edgy exterior and make peace. I believe that every girl loves lace, pearls, buttons and the beach but, that doesn't have to mean that you cant also enjoy a warm sweat shirt , torn jeans, sand between your toes & messy hair . Sashimi is a direct reflection of the average girl OR guy who is a hopeless romantic at heart but may be to shy to show it . I truly put all of myself into my custom pieces & try to make each one with the intent of make someone special happy. My hope is that you will take home one of my hair accessories or unisex necklaces and feel a personal connection. One that will not only captivate you for it's unique coastal flair but it will mean something different to everyone and make you anxious to see what other "starfish personality" you can collect. We're not just talking about any old "starfish" these little darlings will warm you heart with their quirky individualized obituary's, that will not only put a smile on your face but make's it hard for you to not want to adopt one of your own.

Harley Quinn & Ivy Accessories was created in 2007 by Jill-Irene Adina and Lorraine Gonzalez. In an attempt to quench the ravenous, imaginative brains that is H.Q.I., we produce a number of one-of-kind pieces for everyday use and wear. Inspired by the darker side of things our goal is to keep you "Armed and Poisonous" with hair poisons, mini hats, jewelry, and more.

Layli's Collection

Susan Spence is the jewelry designer for Layli’s Collection. Born and raised in Kansas City, KS, she moved to Glendale, AZ in 1995. After being a full time wife and mom to three beautiful children, she decided to try something completely different and taught herself to make jewelry. Originally inspired by ShowTime’s, The Tudors, Susan feel in love with the rich colors, textures, and use of crystals and pearls that the cast members would wear during the show. She began making the pieces for herself and family members, when orders started coming in from others who had just happened to see the jewelry.

Soon, the orders started coming in at a rapid enough pace that she decided to really start concentrating on marketing and began attending many different craft shows around the valley. After being well-received, she decided to take another leap of faith and join the co-op at Pink House Boutique. Susan has custom orders available and each piece is one of a kind.

Renata Bergstrom is the creative brains behind the beautiful Swarovski embellished flip-flops and Converse tennis shoes. Inspired by the beauty of Swarovski, she decided to start embellishing her daughter’s shoes, hair bows, and clothing. After receiving so many compliments on her daughter’s wardrobe, Renata decided to embellish a pair of Chucks for herself. She received even more compliments, and then the requests started flowing in for her to make those kinds of shoes for others. Before she knew it, she was in business.

Renata has embellished Chucks for brides, bride’s maids, mothers of the bride and takes custom orders for any occasion. She is exclusively at Pink House Boutique in Glendale, AZ, and at Trendz Boutique in Leawood, KS. www.laylis.com

Fancie Pantz was founded by a Phoenix Fashionista tired of the high price of fashion. She figured out where to find the trends seen in pricey boutiques and magazines at affordable prices. Finding unique, chic clothing and accessories that stand out from the same-ness and bland-ness of a shopping mall should be easy and fun. A business was then formed, "Fancie Pantz", instantly receiving rave reviews from all over the Valley. Let us do the hard work of finding the cutest styles for you on planet earth!!!
